Planetary #26-Posted by Miles

Seriously one of the best series of all time. Even though it did a lot of 'swiping' friom classic comics literature, it was an insane ride, by the best writer in comics...That would be Warren Ellis. Just my opinion, don't anybody freak out or anything.
It's pretty obvious what the cover itself means, but how does Mr. Snow feel about it?
Not usually a huge John Cassaday fan, I love his stuff on this series.
Thoughts?

I almost bought this comic because of naivety. I was missing an issue of Astonishing X-Men, went to the comic shop to follow through, found this issue. Immediately the cover made me think what I've missed in the current storyline. Walked up to the registrar and found out it wasn't Astonishing so I put it back. On merit the cover did grab me enough to pick it off the shelf. Sadly, ignorance made me return it.

Well you would have been completely lost reading the last issue of the series not having read any others. But there's always the TPB's and I bet there's at least one person at work who owns them. That's not me though, I'm a single issue kind of guy.
I guess that must have been when Cassaday was drawing Astonishing?
The releases of Planetary were very sporadic and he was doing other stuff while waiting for scripts from Ellis.
